Piwik PRO Analytics
For web statistics, Platform Rijksoverheid Online uses Piwik PRO Analytics.
IP address
Piwik PRO stores part of the IP address. But the data we store cannot be traced back to you.
At the start of the visit to the website, Piwik PRO immediately deletes the last group of numbers (octet) of each IPv4 address and the last 4 sets of 4 characters (hextets) of each IPv6 address. This is done in a temporary memory location, before we store the rest of the IP address in Piwik PRO. As a result, the data we store cannot be traced back to you, the person visiting the website.
